School Groups and Chaperones
School group reservations must be made through a K-12 school.
If your group consists of 25 people or more, you
book your visit in advance.
Required Number of Chaperones for Groups of Children
1 chaperone required per every 6 students
BCRI requires that children are in groups with an adult chaperone (includes teachers and parents) at all
times. Chaperones should ensure that museum rules are followed during your tour
to help us keep the BCRI nice for all of our visitors. These will be
explained at the beginning of your tour.
1 chaperone required per every 8 students.
Discounts for chaperones apply during the school year.
Outside Jefferson County, required chaperones are $10 with additional chaperones at $15.
Inside Jefferson County, required chaperones are free, with additional chaperones at $10.
